About Us
Transforming Space Launch Compliance
Phase Zero Space Technologies was founded to solve a critical challenge: making range safety compliance fast, accurate, and scalable for the modern space industry.
Our Story
Phase Zero Space Technologies emerged from firsthand experience with the inefficiencies of traditional range safety compliance. Our founder, Nicholas Hand, spent years leading launch vehicle integration for missions to the International Space Station, witnessing how outdated compliance processes created unnecessary delays and overhead.
The U.S. Space Force's 2024 Commercial Space Strategy confirmed what we already knew: "old ways of doing business will not produce the results we need." With launch demand surging—25,000 satellites expected by 2030—the industry needs modern tools for modern challenges.
ELSSA, our flagship platform, was built to address this gap. By automating the tailoring of AFSPCMAN 91-710 requirements and streamlining FAA licensing, we help both government agencies and private companies focus on what matters: safe, successful missions.
